From the start to the end of my unfortunate Queens county family court case, the Morgan Legal Firm was absolutely …….Exemplary! From day one, starting with the consultation, the intake attorney gave professional and honest advice. After interviewing several attorneys and legal firms, once I began to work with my attorney Sophia Cristando, I knew early on she was the epitome of a professional, empathetic and patient family court attorney. My family and I have had the unfortunate luck of being faced with a myriad of family issues including losing both my first husband who had passed away due to a sudden heart attack 2016 and not too long after my mother due to Cancer in 2020. As if dealing with the loss of a two close love ones was not enough for myself and family to endure, I had complications after a surgery that almost ended in death. It was a very difficult time to say the least. Due to the unfortunate circumstances, my 16 year old son’s mental health began to deteriorate which led to false allegations being made by my sister in hopes of gaining custody. As our country continues to change in terms of family dynamics and circumstances, it is being seen more and more that both family’s and the legal system are being met with complex legal situations include frivolous unwarranted family court cases. When appointed attorney Sophia Cristando, she did everything she could have possibly done to ensure we were as informed and prepared to deal with our case. She was always honest, well informed and left myself and family feeling confident as we navigated through the family court system. In the end, we received a favorable outcome which we were grateful for but it was not just the outcome that left us completely satisfied but the way she handled the entire case. She always kept us up to date on whatever we needed to know, again showing true transparency yet compassion in terms of what we were experiencing. Anytime I would contact her to ask questions she would either give us a direct and honest response and or inquire in a timely fashion if need be. I was terrified when the false allegations were made against myself and husband simultaneously while my 16 year old son was experiencing mental health issues which further complicated the case. I can recall spending many moments with Ms. Cristando emotional, afraid and in fear of losing my son. It was both Ms. Cristando’s professional and kind heart that made it a little easier.
